- The Dogs
A heartwarming story from our most beloved companions, the dogs. This story is told from Lisa Stewart's late dog, Stella. Stella was a mutt who sincerely loved cuddles and making her human friends as loved as possible.
This book is here to help early readers, families, and any dog lover cope with the loss of their best dog friend.
"I loved this book! It's a great reflection on grief - it operates as a reminder of all the love and joy that dogs bring into a human's life. It made me think of the variety of dogs and personalities that have come into my life, and also made me smile at the reminder that "all dogs go to heaven."

"This is a heartwarming and beautifully illustrated story that offers comfort to children (and adults) who have ever loved a dog. This book is a celebration of the unconditional love and joy that dogs bring into our lives. A must-read for any one who has ever loved a dog."
An uplifting tale for all ages that will warm your heart and make you laugh! Equal parts silly and sweet, this book is a balm for the soul of anyone who’s loved and lost a pet.
Even if you're grieving the loss of a dog, this book is sure to make you smile and lift your spirit. With warmth and humor, it paints a great picture of canine antics and celebrates the quirky, lovable spirit that makes dogs who they are. Perfect for all ages - 2 to 102!
I don’t usually cry over books, but I did for this one in the best way, especially after I heard the full story behind it. "Heaven is amazing - the dogs" is not your typical children’s story, it was born out of both love and loss. Originally written to help a child cope with the passing of his grandmother, it was also inspired by the author's beloved dog, who had passed earlier, and who she imagined waiting joyfully to greet his Grandma on the other side, just as her dog always greeted anyone who walked through the door. "Heaven is amazing - the dogs" makes grief feel less heavy, giving both kids and grown-ups a way to feel comfort, reunion, and joy of the good times had on earth side with our loved ones. If you’ve ever loved a dog, or are navigating how to explain loss to a child, this book is a gift. It will bring tears and laughter in the best possible way!
Lisa's first book is a children's book taking a playful approach toward helping readers cope with grief. However, in the future there will be a bigger variety of children's books as well as poetry books for adults...Lisa loves writing.
