Lisa's Writing ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website LisasWriting.com and its related pages and subdomains (the "Site"), and provides books, keepsakes, subscriptions, and custom products (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it plain-spoken. We collect information you give us directly and information collected automatically when you use the Site.
Information you provide
- Order and contact details — such as your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and any personal message or notes you include with an order.
- Custom keepsake contributions — for products such as Treasured Memories, the names, messages, photos, and memories that you or your invited contributors submit through our forms.
- Newsletter and subscription details — the email address (and, where you opt in, phone number) you provide to receive the Hudson Valley Happizine or other updates.
- Affiliate information — details you provide when applying for or participating in our affiliate program.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, links clicked, referral source, and similar analytics.
- Device data — IP address, browser type, and device identifiers.
- Affiliate referral parameters — tracking parameters (such as
ref, am_id, and UTM tags) used to credit affiliate referrals.
How we use your information
- To process and fulfill orders, including producing and shipping custom and signed products.
- To create custom keepsake books from the contributions you and your invitees submit.

- To administer the affiliate program and credit referrals.

SMS / text messaging
We will only send you text messages if you have given express consent. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive SMS messages from Lisa's Writing related to the purpose you opted in for (for example, order updates or, if separately selected, marketing).
- No sharing for marketing. Mobile information collected for SMS will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with the service providers that help us send messages on our behalf.
- Message frequency varies depending on the type of messages you've opted into.
- Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
- Opting out. You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation and will not send further messages unless you opt in again.

How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run our business, including with:

Note: contributions you submit for a custom keepsake book are, by design, compiled into a physical product and shared with the recipient of that book and the person who ordered it.

Data retention
