These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website LisasWriting.com and its related pages and subdomains (the "Site") and your purchase of our books, keepsakes, subscriptions, and custom products (the "Services"), operated by Lisa's Writing ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
We ship within the United States and aim to mail orders promptly. Production times for signed and custom products may be longer. Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.
Some products — including Treasured Memories and signed or personalized books — are made to order based on details and contributions you provide.
For non-personalized products, please contact us at Lisa@LisasWriting.com within a reasonable time if there is a problem with your order. We'll work with you to make it right, including replacement or refund where appropriate.
The Hudson Valley Happizine and similar subscriptions renew or run for the period described at purchase. You may cancel future renewals by contacting us; cancellation stops future charges and does not refund issues already produced or shipped.
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring text messages from Lisa's Writing for the purpose you selected (such as order updates or, where separately chosen, marketing). Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase.
If you participate in our affiliate program, you agree to promote our products honestly and lawfully, to disclose your affiliate relationship as required by applicable advertising rules, and not to make false or misleading claims. All content on the Site — including text, illustrations, book content, logos, and the Lisa's Writing and Happizine brands — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without permission. Content you submit for custom products remains yours, but you grant us a license to use it as needed to produce and deliver your order.
You agree not to misuse the Site, submit unlawful or infringing content, attempt to disrupt the Services, or use the Site for any unauthorized or illegal purpose.
The Site and Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lisa's Writing will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
